    got my male apistogramme cacatuoides male to spawn with my female dubble sunburst! 20-30 fry. bbs hatchery started now. will try take pics but they are tiny

    took them long enough.now hope that i can raise the fry! maybe syphon them up into their own tank?

    With regard to raising fry.

    Once their yolk sack has been consumed, remove the PARENTS and NOT the fry.

    Feed them BBS till they can take flake and mosquito larvae.

    ohw okay. they are already free swimming yolk sack gone. wasnt at my house for 3days

    Leave them in there for a few days. If any of them go missing, remove the parents. They should be fine for now.

    parents protect them like crazy so dont think they would eat the fry?

    thanx hope so! dont have any exp raising apisto fry, but one only learn by trail and error. going to do daily 10% wc from tomorow. also will upload pics tomorow morning if a can get a macro shot of them. they are tiny! the female is also on the smallside. shes still young. raised her from when she was about 1cm.

    will have to look closely they are tiny!

    in the center of the pic you will see a "smudge" of fry haha. my camera sucks even worse at taking macro shots. the dirty glass doesnt help either

    Anyone else agree?
