    Hi guys.

Okay so a new thread for the new beginning. The 4ft tank was moved and was rescaped. But first. I bought one of my latest DIY stands for my 4ft and my 60P will go on the old stand. So my newest tank (60P) will go on my oldest stand and my oldest tank will go on my newest stand. You will soon see how these two tanks contrast with each other and still have so much in common.
I added leveling feet to the cabinets to make my life a bit easier when i have to level the thing out. The old cabinet had a bit of water damage at the base but was still strong as hell. So i decided to save the old cabinet and give it a new life. I modified the cabinet so it can hold my 60P. I drilled holes on both sides so my canister filter pipes and other cables can go straight into the cabinet. Ill update the progress as i go along.....but ill do a big reveal when both setups are finished.

    Some specs of the tanks:

    4ft (120x45x46 cm)
    -ATI 54w t5 x6 (3x Grolux, 3x Aquastar 10000K)
-5kg CO2, SAGA regulator with Scape CO2 reactor.
-Vertex auto doser dosing scape ferts
    -DIY ADA style cabinet
    -Filtration: tetratec ex1200 + eheim 2026
    -Heating : Hydor inline heater

    ADA 60P
    -ADA 602 LED
    -2kg CO2, SAGA regulator, inline CO2 automizer
    -DIY ADA style cabinet
    -Filtration: cascade c1000

So after a few days of continuous working on the cabinets and tanks i can finally say that they are in place.
Just a few small things that i still need to install....
But ill let the pics tell the story.

    First the mighty 4ft...

then came the finishing of the cabinet for the 60P

When the cabinet was dry, i carried it in and started on the 60P

I've never used or even seen ada aqua soil. It's obviously a superior product if people are prepared to pay such a high price for it. Can you maybe give us an idea of the advantages of using it, compared to pfp or potting soil for example?

Man these are epic, it shows again if one can plant with a bunch of plants, the aquarium just looks wow. I suppose what makes your rework a bit easier is the fact that your plants (most / all ?) have already adapted to growing immersed so they already have the correct hight / leaf shape etc. So all the plants really need to focus on is growing more of the same. New plants that are typically cultivated in high humidity but still emeresed do have a big transition. Taking nothing away from the skill and artistry Ivan, more a case, if people are new to the hobby do not think you can just walk in and go click done. I am sure Ivan's method and secrets source is well sprinkled on TASA - good substrate, correct fertz, loads of CO2 with the adequate amount of light and attentions to details with regular maintenance. So if you are new to TASA, seems like we have a bunch of new members, have a look admire and drool but be prepared to put the time in and discover your secret source, what will fit in your budget and time spend.

Good Job Ivan - love it.

    Later Ferdie

@f-fish yeah... you are SO RIGHT!!! As a new member I do drool over all these amazing tanks...
I guess its a lot like starting a garden up from scratch... you learn as you go along... loads of hard work and then patience to wait until it all starts growing!! @ivan, beautiful tank

Very true @f-fish. Just to add to your valuable advice, you don't need to spend a fortune to have a beautiful planted tank. In fact, it can be done on a shoestring budget. Plant selection is the key.

    Absolutely stunning Ivan :)
Agree Broder, although you can still go the DIY route (EI Ferts, river gravel or pfs and lava rock or leca balls to avoid anaerobic areas) if you want to keep some of the harder/fussier plants.
