Very good Ivan. I like the slope at the back. Very steep hey, but I think it will look awsome when the HC starts growing mad. What is that plant at the base of your tree? Staurogyne?

    Hahaha,,, Love that slope!!!
Did a preliminary build on mine today... 4 x 9L bags of Aquasoil later, took it all out. Am now going to try build most of the hight, using stockings filled with pea gravel and cap with AS. Otherwise, I'll need another 2 bags for the rest of the scape. Minimum!

@Barry.M - One notice how much soil goes into a corner when one start filling it, if you look closely in the pic of the slope you will see that i also used something to help me with the slope, in my case it was old flourite i put into small sandwitch bags.

Aah, Just saw that now. Yep, definitely going to make a plan with the stockings. I did a similar thing with my low tech Discus set-up. Although the slope wasn't steep at all, I wanted a gentle hill. I poured Eco complete over the stockings and capped it with pea gravel... (I hadn't heard of Aquasoil at that stage!) I also had to plant heavily as the pea gravel levels out way fast without roots holding everything together! (I stuck one of my dwarf pond lillies in there as they have a massive root structure. The thing went 'bos' in the 30 degree Discus temp. Had huge leaves covering the surface in no time. I cut about 10 leaves back each week!) It's due for a serious re-scape now as well!

I'm going to have to phone Lanzo and see if he can get me a proper adapter between my splitter and solenoid, The mod we did still has to much play! I'll most likely make a turn at the shop on Sat or Sunday!

thats strange, because i put the 5 way splitter on one of the saga regulators and it fit quite snug.
will see if we can make a plan to fit it tightly for you.

    Great!
Crumbs Ivan, this little tank of yours is really turning into something very nice... That tree stump in there is also perfect! Have you considered attaching some anibias onto the top and getting them to grow immersed there, think it'd finish the wood off nicely?
