Yeah, you get them everywhere. Our office is a bit different though. There aren't many places around here to go for lunch, so we have an agreement with the boss. We don't take our lunch hour during the month, and in return we get one half day off per month.

@Linxie: That arrangement with your boss is criminal .... LOL
You guys are losing out SO much. But I guess a job is a job ..... LOL
We have an arrangement where we only take 45min lunch Monday to Thursday, and then can leave at 16:00 on a Friday.

@ Darryn, I really don't mind it. I'm in the office all day any way, so getting a half day off a month is nice :)

You have an awesome arrangement though!

I get to work at 7 every morning so I'm allowed to leave at 4 on a friday too. Some of the perks are crapola, but the others are pretty decent :)

Unfortunately I work for a large corporate, so must be at work, if we are busy or not :-(
I am also on call 24/7, 365 so that's the one downside. Oh well, all the things we have to do to put food on the table (and the tank). LOL

Vis, you work for the government hey?

DAyem Darryn, that's quite hectic to be on standby like that. Are you a technician of sorts?
