Is this normal?

    For lack of response in the other thread, I'll ask again over here.

    I got this Pleco with the tank, and now I'm really wondering if this colouring is normal?

    It appears to be completely symmetrical.

    Can someone identify the type/kind of Pleco?

    And it's normal?

    These are the ones that become like 60cm right?

    I've had a pleco that did the same thing. I think that it is stress colours. They are very resiliant and it should go back to normal after a while.

    Let us know how it does.

    Yeah, this is the common pleco, get pretty large too. Don't worry about those markings though, they're a regular shape or pattern. Like it was said earlier, just stress colours.
