Intruducing an arowan into a tank with south american cichlids bad idea ?

my 3 meter tank is finaly ready to be stocked and i was wondering if i could put in a 35cm arowana with the following fish

flower horn -10cm

texas -10cm

oscar 20cm

red head cichlid -10cm



a bit worried about the flower horn attacking the arowana .

 

what kind of Arowana is it
If its a silver I'd say go for it silvers are tough and will fight back when provoked . If its a jardini I'd be more worried about the other fish .

it is a silver arowana , i have always loved the arowana, just wanted to be sure before i intoduce it to the tank .

 

I'd say go for it my silver use to be all passive and then once in a while when the gt and oscars got to much let rip on them as if he was gonna eat them .as long as the tank is covered and you introduce them all at the same time all should be good

 

I'd also say go for it, but with caution - watch how the fish interact. At the first sign of a serious attack, be prepared to move one or more fish.

Don't worry about small squabbles. So long as they're just trying to figure out who is boss and not actually trying to kill each other, it should all be good.
