    Hi! I'm a new fish fanatic in Pretoria. The bug bit and now I'm addicted! Lol

    I have a tiny (30l) tank with a few tropics and we are doing very well under the patient guidance of Franna. However, I am still a terrible noob and need all the advice you fellow forumers can afford to give.

    I have the nitrogen cycle figured out but I am in desperate need of any tips for the beginner fish lover. Any ideas?

    "Any ideas?"-- get some guppies - they will breed so you will need more than your current 30l - when you have the second tank do something different - be it plants substrate maybe even different fish on the 3'rd tank you duplicate the success you had on the first - just to see if it was luck. By the time you have your 4'th tank figured it is time to redo the 1'st ... Follow the above diligently and in as short a time period as possible - this is not a cure for MTS but rather early acceptance ;-)
