I've recently obtained a few more aquariums (in addition to the 4ft angels and acaras, and a 3ft endler) but I'm stumped for ideas on what to do with them.

My tap water pH is about 7.6 and relatively hard,
I love plants and the aesthetic they create,
I have thought about the idea of linebreeding some Endlers but I think I am too indecisive and idealistic for that,
I'd like to be able to sell what I breed and be able to put some cash back into my hobby but that isnt a major concern,
I think shrimp are cute but not really interested in breeding them.

A picture of the setup is attached. What would you guys do if this was yours?

What a great idea. I'll just need a colony of snails too

YES! people are continually looking for them. And a snail setup. I have a billion snails in a pond and loads of pond plants I can give you to get started

Can you try putting a cone filter like the encircled over the flow pipe in the tank? apparently this works wonders

I was planning on using sponge filters so that I can use floating plants.

They are not impossible, spawn on moss beds apparently. Would be a nice challenge

Agreed with the pea puffers. If you want to take it to the next level though amano shrimp or nerite snails.

I want to try nerites someday. They lay tonnes of eggs...

I tried. Killed them all. If I try again someday I will move the hard scape with their eggs and not the snails themselves

I would rotate the adults in bare tanks since they lay all over..

I don't know of anyone who successfully breeds Nerites.

Wow, if someone could manage to breed ottos on a medium to large scale. That would be something
I’ll buy captive bred ottos for sure!

    Would be cool.

I believe it just takes time for the animals to mature. Like my bichirs, I need to find a male and maybe another female so I can endure the 4 year wait for maturity
