Wanted: Info

Hey guy I came into the hobby a bit late but I simply love it. I have a 900mm x 300mm x 400mm Jewel cichlid tank as my starter but planing on one day have enough knowledge and funds to convert the walls off one of the rooms in my house to tanks lol .

Any advice? Any and all info welcome please and thank you. FYI thank eskom for the headlight photo

The jewels I adopted, a friend woke up one day and realised that he started out with 4, then noticed what he thought was cloudy water started moving in sync and then ended up with 300 in his tank.

I have 11 of them in my tank and 2 guys seem to be building nest or whatever the correct term is.

I'll try to go as big as the budget and space allows.

I'm so excited

 

A few better pictures, did the rocks myself with superglue and glue stick, the middle rock I made with my son, 4 year old, we used tile adhesive, then coated with a water based clear lacquer.

 

The Jewels of Africa.. I absolutely love these fish and keeping them were really amazing, until they started breeding. They are by far the best African parents IMO.

Love the tank, and welcome to the hobby. I see you have some big plans, looking forward to watching those grow

 

Thanks for the warm welcome guys definitely looking forward to this new adventure, I already made my own hospital tank with glass I had today ,forgot to document the process thou but on my next build I will definitely do so.
