    Hi all,

I saw the most awesome thing at my lfs the other day... He has submersible tank lights in stock, I really want to get one for my 6ft as lighting to the lower regions is a problem.

Anyone have 1 or have any info on these at all?

    TIA
    Kim

Thanks, I think I will get one for my 6ft. My Ghost Knives will just have to cope with the brighter light in their wooded area... Hmm.... I'm thinking of putting it down just above the gravel to give it an eerie look...

Used the green one for a laugh once in a set up....buried it just below the gravel and it gave off this ghostly light in fractured beams...pretty cool for an off the wall style tank....

I have no idea what colour they are, as they have never been used or switched on for that matter... Some of them will need the ignitors, or ballasts, but they are free to whoever wants. Skye01 has first option, then @Zoom... I am not using them, and I doubt I ever will so I will give them away.

I wanted to put some in my tank too. Thought about it, but my lfs never had anything decent in stock. More like a big synthetic rock with one light in it. More suitable for a pond.
Are they strip/LED types? Or are they individual lights?

To me they look like T5's in a glass tube. They are individual lights in a glass tube. I don't think they will give a very natural look in a tank. But I have never used them, so what do I know? Hehehe...
