What 'people food' do you give to your fish? It'd be interesting to know, 'cause I really wanna spoil my fish :p

Right now I use pieces of various seafood (so long as it isn't hecticly glazed or battered), chicken livers, and peas.

I used to use finely grated carrot, sliced cucumber, and kidney, but I don't really have that many vegetarian fish left... the kidneys I just stopped bothering with

What do you guys use? And do you think its of great benefit to use foods other than prepared frozen and dry foods?

I feed them a slice of cucumber once a week. The vegie fish have a go at it for a day. The Ancistrus assists at night (I think) and the snails make the rest disappear the following day.

i once had this circulating urban myth email sent to me about a guy whose brain was eaten away by what the email claimed were parasites from sushi, so whenever i think of sushi, i auto-think of those photos, my skin starts to crawl and then i lose interest in sushi

i'll hapily part with the seaweed stuff if i got any...

If you check out the prices of the packaged fish food that looks like NORI, smells like NORI and tastes like NORI - then check out the cost of nori in the SPAR or wherever, and you will see that human nori is half the price of fish nori - strange hey, makes you wonder if the fish food people are trying to make a huge profit - Naahhh couldn't be (Sarcasm)

Have you ever tasted your fish food???? Some of the Omega food tastes like those chinese shrimp chips you buy - or so I've been told :)

Yeah, we use the nori, zucchinis's, cucumber, peas and I've tried butternut as well.

If I had to take food from the kitchen for my fish my finance would kill me. Chefs are so obsessive over how food is used.
