Hi and welcome to TASA Sorry for going off topic also but R800 for a 3ft tank is ridiculous, thats +- what a 4ft goes for here and the 3ft normally goes for R500. For R1800 you can get a decent custom tank.
Hi guys and girls, so this weekend the revamp took place. I started on Thursday draining the tank taking out the plants and fish. Empty tank: this is where the fun starts…….. Cleaning it not that mutch fun.......... The gravel was washed and some new gravel added, plants were whipped down with a soft sponge and all the drift wood pressure cleaned. Pic of the sump’s room at the back of the tank.
All the bitts are in place time to fill it + - 2000L Almost done just need to change the T8’s ×4 40W and MH ×4 150W waiting to cycle a bit then the fish will go in and some more plants. Just a random filter I got running on the tank. “Can never have too much filteringâ€
VERY NICE, Very large tank. Did you plant the Anubis with the rhizome on top of the gravel? Other than that, It looks very good.
Hey RocheH Where is the tank in your house (if you loking from the front?) and do all the filters ect sit outside? - trying to see fro your pics but can't mkae out the whole setup Very nice and interesting!
Its flash with the wall in the “sun room”, all the filter bits is in a small room in the back of the tank. That’s the room at the back of the tank only the one filter is outside the room because I ran out of space in the room. hope it clears things up.
