I'm making some tanks. Help needed.

    Hi TASA,

    I want to make 4 1 X 1 foot tanks. I need them to be perfectly 1 X 1 foot in order for them to fit into their designated spot. Of the five pieces of glass, what should each of the measurments be? I'm getting 20 pieces of glass, four of which are the bases.

    Can anyone help me out?

    Um, I haven't ordered the glass yet but they must be strong. What glass do you think I should get?

    Strong for a 1ft will be 4mm.

    Lets say 1ft = 30cm

    Then you will need:

    2x - 30cm x 29.6cm Front and back panel
    2x - 29.2cm x 29.6cm Side panels
    1x - 30cm x 30cm Bottom panel.

    Almost forgot this is the hight with no styrofome at the bottom. If you are addind that the height will change if it need to fit into a space.

    Ok, so what measurements do I need for the tanks to make them perfect squares yet maintaining the 1 X 1 ft(32l) size?
