ID please

    I am finding these snails in my tank...are they a horrid problem?

    Looks like a Ramshorn Snail.....

    Ja, Ramshorn. They are not an issue, they will help keep the tank clean. I just don't like snails in my tank. I prefer to remove as many as I can. You will never get rid of all of them, but I do try.

    awesome, thanks...i do remove them when i see them as i'm also not so keen on snails. just wanted to make sure they weren't nasty.

    Protea Hights, Brackenfell, Cape Town.
    They make great food for puffers and loaches.
    Pepper cories also eat the small ones and the eggs!
