Is it a Jack Dempsey or a Convict?

 

Is this the one we were all debating about the other day?
Im still not 100% sure on this one because although I have never owned one, the head doesnt look like a convict to me
You cant see the colours of the body so well ...
I am more inclined to think Jack Dempsey but I could be wrong

However.. @f-fish keeps convicts... Ferdie... please help us out here

 

I might swop my 2 African red jewels for 4 silver dollars and this unknown fish... but the guy does not want to tell me why he wants to get rid of his fish.... bit worried...

 

I'd like to get rid of them because they just don't suit the setup that I want to do... Id like to take the jewels because I feel they are better in colour and more aggressive than silver dollars and the green terror. The jewels are also fast at breeding which I'm in to at the moment.

No worries. I'd love to have them and would look after them just like I look after all my fish. Never flushed any of my unwanted fish away. But I hear where you coming from because I feel the same way about my fish. Still interested if you are.

 

I am but would have loved to swop for the unknown fish rather than the silver dollars... most of my tank has Cichlids in them... basically I got hooked on them.

 

That's me at the moment we'll I'm sure we could do the unknown for the two jewels
