Head and tail light tetras are just about one of the first tetras to be imported from the Amazon river in South America, and you can find them in the oldest aquarium books by exactly that name and nothing else, so there is nothing unprofessional about this, this is their name.

    Kind regards,

    Dirk

Well thank you doc,but I neglected to say was that there were two different tetras/characins named head and tail but I do deeply appologise for not adding that and yes the 4 characins I bought are the head and tail but the other two....well don't know....the man that assisted me was not very informative...and I was bussy looking at some rainbows whilst he was attending to the fish and it was only when I got home that I found out I had 2 different fish...and I'm very sorry about no pic....my phone won't allow me to upload it! So give me a few hours and it'll be there.

Well the others could have been pretty tetras? They are quite similar.
