I'm going to redo my 470L tank. I want to start a Malawi tank.

I read about a few species that's not really aggressive
    Lupingo Labidochromis
    Labidochromis electric
Malawi blue dolphin (maybe gets too big)
    Fenestatus
    Eduardi
    ect.

I basically want Blue, Blue Black, yellow/ yellow black, I've seen red and white as well. Can anyone pls give me more names of Malawis these colours and where can I get them from, Dolphin ect.

I don't want to overstock thats why im not going for too aggressive. But how many fish would you recommend for a 470L. My sump seems to work great.

Want to do my research properly before I attempt anything.

Dolphins are too big for that tank. If I had known you were thinking of Malawis, I would have shown you my 6ft.

Otopharynx Lithobates. Most awesomest and chilled fishm plus they are relatively small

Try stick to Haps or mbuna only, not both.

Ps I have a bag of crushed coral that you are welcome to

Also a very nice one. Are these fish rare? or should it be easy to get hold of them?

Would have loved to see your other tanks hehe.

Does the coral harden the water ?

I also need to start thinking what fish im going to keep in the 1m I got from you Neilh. but thats for another thread

I've only seen them twice at KAC, usually as fry. So they a dull silver with a bit of yellow.

Yip, crushed coral to harden the water. Keeps mine at around a ph of 8
