    As said.... completely off the fish topic.... but just maybe someone can help.... It is almost Silkworm time... and I have this Giant mulberry tree in the yard.... It makes sense for me to keep silkworms...lol.... I will appreciate if someone is prepared to mail me some eggs... even if it is 10 or 13 eggs... Just clip off the piece of carton that the eggs were laid on... put it in an envelope and mail it to me... Inbox me the costs involved with your banking info... and I will transfer the cash.... Thanks....

    As soon as schools start again there should be an influx of primary school kids with silkworms.
    You could contact your local primary schools and ask them if anyone has silkworm eggs.

    The only problem with the idea of keeping silkworms is that the moths will probably be predated on by birds, and there is no guarantee that the cocoons will be collected in time.

    @Pezulu,
    i am not sure it's even possible to keep them "wild"
    they are more or less domesticated.

    I intend keeping them in a shoebox or even cracked 24 inch tanks.... I wonder If I'll get arrested if I sit in my car at the primary school gate and offer sweets to the kids in exchange for worms...lol.... I do not think anyone will believe my intentions.... ha! ha!.... If I cannot get any from here... I think I'll check out the (two) pet shops in KBY.... Maybe they will have some...
