    Hi all

Been Really busy lately (Feb) but I have finally decided to get 3 additonal tanks.
The offer stumbled on me and it was really good. Wonder how they got my details! (anyways) Its 1200x45/50/60x60 tanks
Side sump so basically 1000mm usable space.
The 1200x45/50/60x60 means that i am not sure if they making it width size maybe 45 maybe 50 maybe 60.. need to confirm.

    First tank - Wife tank
she will be loading all her current Guppies(20 adult 50+- fry)/platy(3)/molly(6) and Dwalf garomari(2) into it.
She will most likely want to get small colorful fish and female dwalf garomari.
Any suggestions on small fish to add??? please help
    # I also forgot a fake upsidedown catfish, The reason I forgot him is that I never see him ever since I brought it.
I know his alive cos its under a peice of Driftwood and move now and then..

Also whats the max amount of fish for her 4ft high tank

    Second tank - My tank
I will be loading my Black Ghost Knife (1) and albino bristelnose pleco(2) into it.
I am not sure what else to load with these guys but I really do LOVE Zebra Plecos so madly but just not
big enough for them to be happy. I will try buy a house in June and make a bigger tank and get some of these buggers!
So who evers got these Zebra (L46) make urself know to me now please :D (Laracraft - If you still have them at that time I'll take all 6)
but yes Please suggest what I can add to my tank

    Third tank - Office tank.
Maybe also small fishes / guppies / tetra / killies

So heres how it goes, names of the fish and sorta where the fish is in the country (LFS)
dont post me a fish that I can only get overseas :D or post me fish that are black listed.
and @Altum, its time to show me what fishes you got bud :D
All Fishes are Warm Water Tropical fish only / so the cold version = no no :(
lastly, dont provide me with tank breakers ok?? I almost asked a guy for his flowerhorn frys..

    Thanks All

@BBQ For your wife tank: Why not get a small school of sterbai cories for the bottom? they are just awesome!!

For your tank, since your black ghost will be limiting you somewhat, why not stick to the more weirder and wonderful.... giant halfbeak?

Hey @BBQ... Think you need to tell Mr. Tank builder dude to go minimum 50cm wide on the tanks - 60cm on your tank...then you will have more than enough space for those L46's in there... He,he

So,no.1: The wife's tank: Nice mix of colourful livebearers already...expand on that... + Some Neon Dwarf Rainbows (Melanotaenia preacox) or some Thread fin Rainbowfish(Iriatherina wernerii)... PappaBear suggestion of Sterbai Corries is EXCELLENT.... or some of the other Cory species.... awesome to have a small school of 8 to 12 of them doing their thing along the bottom.... 3-5 Botia striata or 5 - 7 Kuhli loaches will add that "Clown" aspect to her tank.... a single pair of Dwarf cichlids could be cool to.... Kribs(Pelvicachromus pulcher) or Blue ramirezi Dwarf Cichlids....

Now your pride and joy...Dude,what impressed me about you from day one is that you took on the responsibility of caring for your BGK(bloody LFS's and their quick sell ways heh?).... they are AMAZING pets(notice, pets, not just fish...) and a 1,2 x 60 x 60 will be a perfect home for him/her... Keeping 4 - 6 L46's with it is gonna take a bit of creative aquascaping(flow requirements....) but not impossible at all.... You just need to ask(and a Red bull or two to fuel said help will go down well like last time...lol) and I'll help.... we spoke about other fish in here(if you dont want to go the Angel route)...Keep your mind open for now - there are some pretty cool stuff that will work well with these 2 species.... Keeping in mind what THESE 2 species need, space and...Go look at Marbled Hatchet fish - small school of them could really bring some life to top of this system...Too weird for you? Look at small school of Hemiodus..... Both of these South American...sort of keeping the "Faith" of your other 2 species.... Maybe even a pair of Keyhole Cichlids....cool!

Office tank.... Hmmn - gave you some ideas...but invite me round to see said space.... In an "corporate" environment you want to present something that looks clean, well aquascaped, with fish that turns your client's eyes.... the "Standard tank with shipwreck and blue gravel" dont quite cut the mustard...neither does the "rare fish and their specific biotope" that you like,either.... Aim for a nice low tech planted tank with appropriately sized shoalling fish to create a little bit of nature in your bizz front room - winner every time....

Not many fish "Ideas" in what I said Henry....but maybe me,you and wife should have a "BBQ" and chill while we chat fish, tanks,(aquatic)life and the rest....lol!

@Altum I for sure wanna fly down sooner then later, just gota find a reason to get down :D else the wife gonna complain again.
and dont worry, if I find the deal good and worthwhile, you wont need to convince me at all :D cos the product will sell on its own.
Thank for the offer to host :D cos I always go down only for a day, go for a meeting for 1 hour max and send the whole day doing nothing
    not even visit the beach.

@Corne hehe the MTS really did bite me hard and took a massive chuck on the wife too.. so where can i catch it and beat it up???
and the problem is that theres not much control over this now, cos even the wife is doing it..

@PappaBear I think the wife will not go for that, she is quite upset with anything resembaling a catfish type of (fish) cos out catfish
now, we have not seen it at all since it was brought. she saw it once when she took the ornament out of the tank, and this catfish was in it
and almost died for been out the tank so long (30 mins maybe) but it was still in the wetish ornament
BUT the HALFBEAK! I want!! Just hope my BGk dont go poke thier eyes out..
and will halfbeaks eat smaller fish??

    @HeinrichvH
hmm intresting, there seems to be few kind of these fish as i looked on google images.
Nice selection but from what i can see, they more bottom type of fish. this might poes a risk when the BGK grows up
    eye poking :D

@azurekoi SHAWN! hmm intresting on the L46, (would prefer these on a sep tank tho incase some disaster)
    1. the Neon Dwarf Rainbows they seem really nice with the tint of red around the fins - now just to find them.
    2. Thread fin Rainbowfish OMG where to find??? even if they wife dont want in her tank, I want in my and theres also so many colors I dont even know where to begin
    3. Botia striata This i will get if i can find, always wanted the normal one (red/black Indian) but i believe they are a badish fish (was told not to pick even one up)
but the colors are great expecially the fine stripped one.
    4. Kuhli loaches hahahaha Didi showed me these and the pepple that they using and how it digs itself inside. Then I went and brought 40kg of these pepples to get ready for them.
    5. Dwarf cichlids hmm some are really nice, just hope that when i see them at the pet shops, they will have nice ones too.. (are they aggresive? and eat guppies?) cos she will PMS me
if she finds out that her guppies are gone overnight.
    6. Kribs cichilds, sameish fish, dependent on color and thier food requirements.
    7. Blue ramirezi Dwarf Cichlids hmm for my tank??? can work?

My tank - well The going bigger is for the BGK, haha for sure will pop by again cos i pass there everyday :D
the angels is a bit worriesom, cos incase other fish spawn those buggers might chow them up.
I dont want to sell my frys or anything, rather give them away to a good home if i have too much but just
dont want them to become food :D (dont tell the wife if i took her guppies and fed it to other fish)
The marble hatch fish, will they fight with halfbeaks?? one really long and one really bold haha.
Hemiodus hmm really nice too, like the black line that kinda looks like a bomb fuse :D and the red is the TNT
I might give this a go rather then marbles
OH!! Keyhole Cichlids yes a pair please mid bottom tank can i keep 2/3 diff kind of these? will they fight?
and lastly, adding all these kinda fish, getting the fish is one thing but what are the food requirements on all :D
I dont wanna sit there and say - oh here u are, a bit of this, a bit of that and oh and forgot about this and that
i will have more dry/fish food then my own food.

Office tank - hmmm this one is at the warehouse which is out of bounds for public.
its only for me and another HOD that sits in that office and 2 PA
admin office is at menlyn and I hate going there, my table collects dust only at that side.
cos I HATE the Accounts Director, we fight alot. she dont get along with her brother and brings the issue
    to me.

about the "BBQ" yeah must do it sometime, maybe check with the wife on next weekend.
Just hope it doenst get too chilli by ur side, cos im the first guy to QQ about cold weather.
If I do rock up for "BBQ" rule of thumb - no food with Green PEPPERS :D else you have to take
me to the nearest hospital - im Serious.

Thanks all for time and effort

    Keep the suggestions coming.
I will fill fish slowly so this may take up 2-3 months
and which by then I might have another few tanks LOL!!
Next one would be 2m for the Arowana's

that is the most interesting part of a halfbeak..... watch what happens when you throw a guppy in its tank! that's why I suggest it for the BGK tank, and not the wife tank.... it is one FEROCIOUS predator!!!!!

I visit them weekly now- and thier service is great too but iv been seeing the same fishes there :D I dont blame them tho, cos they have to sell to get new ones.
Moolis even joked when Didi took my phone and said whats this on the pic... he said a phone before Didi could finish "the picture part"
but I will have to select the right mix for all 3 tanks.
I saw some Jewel cichids (spelling?) Shawn said those are NASTY fish which will eventually kill all my other fish included my BGK.
thats the kinda stuff I want to avoid and then choose my fish according to the best mix- I know im gonna full these tanks up soon but just dont want them to die or get eaten as breakfast.

Oh , is THAT what wine estates were for !!??
    Viewing...
Must be where the expression " Drinking in the scenery " arose
    ..hehe

Gimme 1-2 days notice, some of my fish access, is held by staff. S
    o I must plan accordingly.
For them it's after hours work, and for ME...it's a thrill to show some very "limited edition" fish which work in any of your aquaria.

If I'm back intime later. I'll be listing another dozen or so nice , new arrivals for THIS-, NEXT- and 2 WEEKS TIME.
