    Shakes... WOOA buddy...

STOP BUYING! You going to kill your fish. Let the tank settle a bit. You are going crazy there. If I were you... STOP BUYING and leave EVERYTHING alone for a few weeks.

Hasnt the tank only been running for about a week or so?

Zoom is right, just take a chill pill. Rome wasnt built in a day nor will your tank.
    Just breathe and relax lol

Ok wait... you got a dollar?

With those small fish and those plants... I recon within 2 months you'll have a tank with only substrate and a lonely dollar.

dude this is the classic case of buying fish without understanding their requirements and behavior !

I think its irresponsible how you buy fish on whim then give them back to the pet shop when the cause sh!t !

just because you have a juwel with "good filtration " and that has been "cycled " doesn't meen you can keep any fish under the sun .
you say you understand the requirements for discus yet you ask if you should get some ? if you knew you would not have to ask!

I don't see the point of this thread and you going all out on making bad decisions on your own . this forum is about sharing experiences and taking advice , you have been given great advice from many users and yet you still messed things up! as if you know what you are doing and are proud , but you should not be .

if you want to get things on track then listen to the users ill be glad to help you but I can't sit around listening to you making bad decisions .

we are a community and help each other , let us help you and those fish man .

    cheers

And the fish are probably all in HIGH stress because the water isn't right, the fish are incompatible, and hence they are susceptible to disease.

    Hi Shakester

I am going to answer you pm here because I need to attach a pic, hope this is Ok with you.

The attached pic is of Neon tetra disease. You would see clear white blotches neer the spine.
You neons loosing colour can be explained by the following.
I would guesse your water is not peat filltered and thus not soft and accidic.
Neons need this to be really happy and show colour. At his moment your tetras are unhappy and stressed that is why they are loosing colour and most likely the cause of the ich outbreak as tetras are very susceptible to ich.

Do not worry about them schooling, they do have the nature not to really school in tanks unless really threatened.
