Hummingbird tetras

Are these available locally, and if so, has anyone kept them successfully? It looks like my kinda teensy tiny sub-2cm fish!

Ive never seen them before but doing research it would most likely cost R120-150 a fish here so I doubt many stores would bring them in ... especially being wild caught. Although that being said people seem happy to pay for the rarer rasbora and rainbow fish species. I think you'll have to start tracking import lists ( I do it and its frustrating because you'll never get enough orders to bring them in lol )

Haha, I think you're in Gauteng so WCB imports the wholesaler is always a good start since most of your local shops will use them. Definitely the pet store named Coastal (won't say the full name as its not a sponsor here). Make sure you join an importers group, Thai and Malaysian lists are so massive that you'll find another dream fish on them (but then you'll need to get 30 to get a bag, which is the painful thing). Even if you do most of this , this is for any else who's curious
