Hey all I am a Dbn boy and new to the fish tank scene. Believe me I need all the help I can get.

I have 3 tanks in my house

2ft With 2 x goldfish, plec and siamese fighter
1ft with 3 neon tetras, 6 guppies and 3 other small fish.

The above were really easy to set up and maintain.

Just started a 4 ft 250L tank. The grey hairs have set in already.

    Welcome to TASA

Some people might say having a Siamese fighter is bad, not exactly. All depends i guess. Mines doing okay and so are the others

Thanks, ja I was warned the same, but I was told as long as it is only 1 it should be ok. It came from a tank with other goldfish.

    Hi and Welcome

The 4 foot tank is easier than the smaller ones.

when i meant others i meant my other fish not the Siamese, only have one. He/she is with a Gourami, rosy barb, keyhole, pleco, up side down catfish and a tetra i guess, dont know the name.

    Hi Richard...

Welcome to TASA.... This will become your SECOND hobby. Fish keeping being your first.

I would say be cautious of MTS sickness... it lurks around the forum like a diseased virus, but you've already caught it. (MTS= Multiple Tank Syndrome)

LOL, true, my son's tank was a birthday present from my Mom (tank 1), my wife got given 5 guppies so there came tank 2, now the bug has seriously bitten and we have our 4ft project.

I gotta be stard raving mad, but hey its good fun.
