    Howdy all

    Good to see that there's a South African freshwater forum amidst all the marine ones. My frustrating interest is planted aquariums. Not that I have difficulty in growing them - that's the easy part, but in obtaining the variety of plants that are available in Europe or America. The last time I supplied a wish list to an importer, I was informed that half my selection was banned as 'allien' species - even the crypts were banned!!
    I plan to re-plant my 4ft, but am not sure if I will be able to get anything other than the usual pet shop fare of amazon swords, valis etc.
    Anybody know of plant mail order people in SA?
