    Hi everyone,

I am going to be doing a medium-low tech planted tank. My question is how many of these 4ft ( t8( referring to how many lines of LED's and diameter)) 21w Leds for my 393l tank to give "1-2 wpg" of lighting. the tanks measurements are 1.3m * 55cm * 55cm. attached are pics of the light and the tanks currents brightness. Please try and help me:idea:

It's not really feasible to use the 'wpg-rule' when using LED's.
Use two strips or tubes and see how it works.Your plants will soon tell you if you need more light.

well i had no fish in my tank at the time and it was interesting to see how stuff was growing in the tank, some algae growth for me is not a problem as long as it doesnt take over the entire tank.
