So.... with the three babies in their new homes.... and only my two black diamond pups left.. I had to decide whether to take down this tank or not..

Meantime... it appears there are buns n two ovens at the moment.. too early to video movement but certainly looks like it so.. decided best keep the tank running and cycled..

Needed a bit of a revamp and some life in it so decided to leave my two bd babies there a while longer and do the tank up a little
Added some more substrate (might have to move some of it aside when babies come) and some wood including a stunning piece I got from @Pezulu ..
Needed some not so small fish to keep tank populated and looking nice... I have always loved the Rainbows but they too small even at 12cm to keep with the big rays.. but then I saw Pezulu was selling his and that was perfect to keep with the babies so... gave them a home.
Thanks @Pezulu.. they have settled and looking stunning..by way.. they eat earthworms too...:)
Also got a little 'pickels' (flagtail) to keep the wood clean.

Meantime... my two acaras that were in the tank decided they having babies too!! So... revamp had to wait.. hence the delay in posting pictures

Have removed the acara babies now so the revamp eventually took place

Now the tank looks much better and more homely for the coming pancake babies..

And some pictures of the tank now..

Glad to see all the Rainbows have settled in nicely.
That piece of wood barely fit into my tank, and in yours it looks like a perfect fit.
Good to see everything going well.

    Thanks Ferdie,

Don't know what got into everyone that suddenly there is babies everywhere
The geos look like they at it again and so are the little acaras.. So guess they must be happy

    The rainbows are stunning.
Will probably try get another 3 or 4 as they like to be in numbers, just need to find some slightly biggish ones as I also don't want to take a chance with very little ones

Rainbows and little gouramis are great
Put the two little bristlenose with the geo babies for now because I was worried they a bit small to go in this tank
Its been quite cool as they eat up any food that the fry don't eat and no babies have gone missing

The piece of wood is perfect.
Just hope my lighting is ok for the bolbitis as I love it

Thanks @Ammar ... A tank full of them is quite a site!

Thanks @Hendre.. keeping our fingers crossed on the maybe

    Thanks @Nico Hamman ..
Must admit that I love the geos too and although they stand up for themselves, they peaceful fish.
Their colours realy come out as they get older... they grow pretty fast but dont get huge.
You just need to be prepared for a lot of rescaping although they dont actually eat the plants. Anubias and anything tied to rocks and wood are safe from all the digging or lets say.. sifting through the sand
