Any fish will eat shrimp, if it fits in the fish's mouth it will be lunch.

shrimps are awesome, but best kept in a tank on their own. What size tank do you have? personally i love Hi-Fin Plecos.. but they get quite large. Algae eaters are good as well. Maybe Corydoras as well? but those need to be kept in groups.

A Pleco would be quite cool in there, or some Corys. What other ideas of catfish did you have?

Do not get any large plecos, they will outgrow your tank and foul it.

Look into getting some otocinclus. At least 6 since they like to school. They should take care of algae.

Corydoras will eat food that falls to the bottom if you overfeed. Also at least 6.
