HOB on the side

    Hi all,

    I have a Aqauclear 50 HOB, but there is no space on the to put it on the back!!

    So it is on the side of my 3ft 115L tank.

    Will this cause any issues?

    You just got yourself a HOS, Hang On the Side...
    Shouldn't have any 'side' effects...

    You might have an issue with water flow when using your HOS.
    A cheap wavemaker installed on the opposite side of the tank should solve that issue.

    I use my AC110 on the end of my 4ft. Gives good flow to the point where I sponged the overtake since my fish don't like high flow.

    there is no issue that I know of :)
