    Good day everybody.

I read on the internet about this food and apparently it is amazing. I would like to know if somebody can second the things I read from personal experience and maybe give their views of the product.

Is there anybody that knows of a petshop that sells this product in Pretoria? I would really like to try it.

    Thank you for your time.

Tried it.... didn't like it. (I'm assuming you are talking about the freez dried stuff?)

Fish didn't eat it, and it fouled up my tank water.

But other members on this forum use it with varying results

Pellet foods are brilliant, also not a fan of their freeze dried stuff.

www.happykoi.co.za are the distributors if you are out in JHB

The Hikari discus bits are readily accepted by my discus, and I actually prefer them to tetra products, availability is definatly a problem.
I would but them if they were im PMB.

I use their Cichlid Pro Pellets, brilliant stuff, even the catfish like it.

Though I could see it fouling up the water if it wasn't eaten...

I was talking about the pellet foods. I don't like freeze dried foods.

Thank you everybody for the replies. I appreciate the info and advise very much.

I don't get to Jhb that often but thank you very much Neilh. Is there a forum member that can tell me of a petshop in Pretoria that sells the Hikari food range please???

    remove non sponsor info

    :wondering:
    WOW. Thought I'd mention it
I noticed two online addresses, linked in post in this thread.
BOTH commercial in nature as a source of foods.
Both businesses mentioned are NOT tasa sponsors either.

This is in contrast to forum rules, as a webaddress in open forum, is the same as contact details...if not worse
Which is again, contrary to forum rules...regarding publicity, non sponsor dealers

...since any of several sponsors should have been approached for a product available from them
