    Hello there

and let me fist say thanks for all the help regarding the "help needed" thread....no more deaths and fish are looking happy ("swim bladder" fish is even better.....and has actually grown a bit!!!...i kid you not, i can see the size difference, changed colour too)

    anyways...back to the point.

i've had fishies for about 5 years (smallish 150L tank).....current tank is a 1.8mX50X45 (had this for 2 years or so)....all malawis in there. The 150L is/was the sump.

also have a 1.7mX45cm.....but only 12cm wide (built into the dividing wall between lounge and front door)...havent finished this one yet....still busy with the hiding of all the pipes and things...since you can look at the tank from basically 3 sides i want everything hidden

also planning a bigger tank (close to 2.5m or so...that i somehow want to join to the existing 1.8m ....link the 2 in a corner into one really big tank)...i have some ideas , will see how it goes....probably involves some intricate glass cutting.

i'll take pics as soon as i figure the camera out (the glass seems to distort the pics)

spare time is spent working in garage (basically an excuse to drink beer and fiddle with bits).....or cycling

Hi and welcome to TASA (again) :blink1:

A 1.8 + a 2.5 in a corner joint is going to look really nice!!!

    How about a water bridge?

ace....could be interesting....but not a thin tube like that one....i actually have a close to 30cm diameter piece of perspex tube in my garage somewhere......could be interesting linking something that size between the 2 tanks yes?

could fit a whole lot of fish though a tube like that
