Hi need help with pricing

:wondering: I have 50+ mystery snails, the LPS said they would take them all i just need to put a price on them. I payed R 20 each for the adults from another LPS. ( they sold them to me as apple snails. ) The babies are six weeks old and about the size of 20c pieces.:bigsmile::bigsmile::bigsmile:
The LPS that is interesed normally sell this size snails for R 7.50.
:idea:I was thinking R 5 each or swapping 5 snails for one cory. ( they said that they are open to swapping. )
Do you guys think thats reasonable.:wondering:

 

I think you price is a bit high but it is still up to you I would try to go for 10 snails 1 cory or something like that

 

Thanks Gareth, you see i have no idea how much to charge. This is the first time that i have something for sale. I saw some advertised on the junkmail website for R10 each which is why i thought R5. I"ll see if they will give me two sets of three corys then. ( one set of pepper corys and a set of bronze corys )

Thanks will let you guys know i'm taking them in tomorrow. So with any luck i will come home with my corys. I've been wanting some for ages. ( hold thumbs )

 

Perhaps i should have mentioned that the corys go for R15 each

 

I went to the LPS all the corys were gone already, so i asked them to make me an offer for the snails. They gave me R5 each no kidding, i will just have to wait for them to get corys again.

Thanks, i was prepared to take much less even though my first thought was five rand. I just could not believe my luck when thats what they offered. The nine corys i wanted would have only cost R135 and i would have been happy for a staight swop, or even just six corys would have made me happy.
Well now the big questune what do i spend my hard earned cash on? LOL.

 

hahaha, you did quite well I had a lionhead goldfish which was bought for 100 bucks plus two other goldfish, three zebra danios, two neons and a black neon to the sum total of R200 and the shop gave me only 80 bucks to spend Enjoy spending ur cash- let us know wat you got

 

yea i'll let you guys know, but i think i'll wait till they get some corys 'cos i really want some. I already bought a khuli loach today, shame it was the only one they had left and it looked so lonely so it came home to join my other khuli's.
