Hi Guys

My name is Shayne van Zyl,recently became interested in tropical fish(never even had a goldfish when i was younger!)am an absolute novice and am wanting to setup a malawi cichlid tank.Was hoping some of the threads could provide valuable info in this regard.

Any advice would be welcome,cheers

Tip 1: do not get a tank and fish at the same time whatever your
LPS says. Your tank need to cycle.

Thanks Vis,have done some reading to gain limited knowledge about the basics so far.Hope not to make basic errors!
Have purchased a 4ft tank,canister filter(950lph),300w heater so far.
