Hi from Edgemead

Hi there all, came across this site while trying to find out how to convert a marine tank to a planted tank. I have not had a planted tank before, but from what I have seen, they are beautiful.

I am changing from a marine tank to a planted tank as I keep losing corals in summer due to temp problems ( I do not have the space for a chiller unit ).

From what I have seen on this site so far, there are a lot of very knowledgeable people here..........and I really need some help.

My tank is 1350mm x 600mm x 600mm with a 1200mm x 500m x 300mm sump. Plenty of space for lighting (although I do not have any idea what to put in or how to connect them up). The only thing I know about electricity is how to spell it and that it packs one hell of a punch. Yes, I have been klapped a good few times and I now have an unholy fear of it.

I am very keen to learn and would really appreciate all / any advice or help offered. I look forward to chatting with you.
