Hi all!! I am glad to have stumbled onto an SA fish forum. I have had some experience with tropical fresh tanks tanks when I was a teen. My grandad used to breed all sorts of fish in his garage and and got me hooked on tropical fish tanks. He taught me most of what I know. I gave up on fish tanks 6 years ago and have been growing orchids in the mean time. But something fishy is going on here!! I have recently got my self 50L 120L and 500L tanks. The 50L and 120L is up and running. The 120L is a community tank while the 50L is in my 6 year old daughters room with a few die hard Jewel Cichlids. I can feel I might be getting fish fever:nuts:!! Then I will have a bit of a problem supporting two hobbies :blink1: Glad to be apart of this forum. Rgrds Bradley
Hi and welcome On a side note - you wouldn't have known, but Jewel Cichlids are all blacklisted species, so you aren't allowed to discuss them on TASA ^^;

We just can't be allowed to discuss them on the forums because the site owner could get into trouble for allowing discussion of illegal things.
Hi Gert. Thanks for tip. I suppose I should have read TASA rules and regulations That is a loooong list!! I might be mistaken, but I think I came to check out your fish about eight years ago? I was visiting my family in Protea Hights near Bastion primary school and popped in at maybe your place close bye. Many many tanks in garage and another area.
