Hexagonal Tank for sale...

Hey guys, I wen to go and visit a friend of mine over the weekend.

Turns out they are selling their tanks the one for sale at the moment is a a really nice Hexagonal tank half a meter wide and a meter high, really nice tank in good condition, selling with everything - Filter, light and I think the air pump as well...
Asking Price is R1000 what you guys think... who wants it?

The stand broke some how when they moved so no stand sorry about that...:thrasher:

 

A grand is a bit steep imo

Unfortunately the second hand market for tanks is TERRIBLE! I would think that he could realistically only get R750 for that tank... also depending on what make the filters and heaters are etc.

The problem with tanks like that is that altho is appears to be big.. there is very little sruface at the top in relation to the volume of water, and therefore a lot less oxygen in the water thatn if you were to compare that volume of water to a normal fish tank. This limits you to the number of fish you can put in. Because of the height of the tank, you are also very limited to the plants you can put in because the light has to penetrate to deep.

 

This I know so do you think R750 would be a good price then?

ah ok, this tanks is really cool if i had the money and space I would take it myself would look awesome with some Angels in it
