Hennies rescaped 3 foot

Hi all

I have rescaped my 3 foot tank. And this is the results. It has been running for 2 weeks now, so still lots of growing to do.

Thanks everyone, really worked hard on this one. Problem is always finding the right wood for your scape, it took me lots of pet shop hopping and lots of picking up moving them around to create the look I had in mind. I have added fish and the seem to fit in nicely, 20 cardinals. Now just to get some ottos.? If any know who has got, let me know please.

@PsyXe yes you right it does kind of have that feel, will move the heater, wire is to short so can move much, and with my diy skills I might just blow up my place haha. @Marius Swart I might just check the black back ground out, but I have a feeling a light blue might look better?

Hennie I havnt worked with all those colours before but I know it made my tank look better , give it a try , noting to loose, thank is a winner anyway :adore:

 

hennie each scape you do keeps improving, keep it up bud.

You should try and not have such a mound of aquasoil on the left, gradually slope it up. looks funny to stare at a dark spot in that area of the tank.

 

Hey hey @cheekychops nice to hear from you. Yes I agree, thinking of fixing it but I've fiddled so much already, and I do agree with you, if you look back a year ago when I met u guys helping me out with my algae thread killing me, and where I am now, there is no comparison. But if I want to compete with the best I need to fix these small things where I'm going wrong. So ill check if I can fit it in between my beet schedule... Haha . nice to hear from you my friend, now how about you update us on your tank.

 

Update time

Here is an updated pic, starting to grow in, but some slow growth in dome areas as I was only running 2 t5s I now moved it up to 3. And increased my co2.

Red cobombo and rotala colors ta is doing great.

I also added 10 amano shrimps, and 10 rainbow danios, nice fish if I can add.
