Help with filtration

    Hi I have a high tech established tank that’s had some algae issues I have bought some sea hem matrix and was wondering whether I should let it cycle in my larger tank before adding it to my high tech or if I should just add it straight to the canister filter

    Add it straight but don't remove / replace all filter media. Will help to seed the matrix

    As Ren said, just add it to your existing mix of bio filtration. It won’t however make a difference to your algae issues, if that’s the intention?
