I bought a huge 3.2m tank and now need to set up the sump. This is the first time I'm going to use a sump. Attached are pictures of the sump. Advise on what media to use where would really be appreciated.

Never used a sump myself, always had an canister on my tanks. But I am sure someone will be able to advise you.

What fish are you planning on keeping ???

Wow, a 3.2m tank is huge! It's going to be seriously awesome! Excited to see how it turns out.
I've never used a sump so can't advise, but good luck setting it all up!

    nice size tank congrats
    sumps are awesome,
i set up most of my sumps in the following way
first chamber mechanical filtration either filter socks of batting changed and cleaned often, more dirt and debris you can remove the better
then just full as much biomedia as you can
mostly i use lava rock as it cheap but still use ceramic rings, seachem matrix, pumice stone and what ever other media i have lying around.

try leave media in bags so it is easy to remove a rinse clean every so often

Here is the pic of the tank and sump. The plumbing will be done this weekend. I'm super excited about it but also VERY nervous!

You've got it in the reverse so D on the second photo is where the water inlets.
D would be your mechanical filtration eg filer matting or floss.
C would be bio media like bio rings matrix lava rock etc.
A is for your return pump.

The last section is for top of water. Usually this is used in saltwater systems. You'll need an auto top of unit if you going to use that it has a small pump and float switch to pump water into the return chamber (A) as it is evaporated
