I found a jelly like parasite on my guppy's head. It is alive and resembles a jelly fish. I don't know what it is, but can somebody please give me advice on what I can do to get rid og this:p

Look's like a jellyfish? --> In other words maybe like a sea anemone....if so,your problem is Hydra - A fresh water celoenterate (usualy attached to tank walls and decor - 1mm - 2mm in size...Check tank walls for more by shining a torch vertically on pannel of glass and looking vertically from above...) If so,DEAD easy to get rid of...

Connect 2 thin pieces of electrical wire to one of those rectangular batteries with the 2 poles on top(not sure what their like number is - bout 5cm x 2cm and 1cm thick - runs alarm clocks and so....) - run the 2 wires into your tank and leave running for like 15 mins....Problem solved!!! (if its Hydra - Google images should confirm this for you) + Dont worry, you wont shock or kill your fish....

Another way to get rid of them is to put a Paradise fish in your tank - although they are a bit agressive and will shred your Guppys fins... They are one of the few fish that eats Hydra.....

    Yes MDM - That's the one....Brain like a sieve sometimes..lol...
Hydra can enter your Aquarium via plants purchased...They like dirty old water(Where they feed on Zooplankton in the water column) conditions like these are normally found in plant growers ponds...etc. Not realy a danger to fish, but will eat fry....
