Hi I have a question. Can anyone please help me identify what kinds of arowana these are? Are they legal in SA? And if so where can you get them?

Good luck dude... IF you can find them, those will go for a small fortune. I'm sure one of them is a red dragon...

And if you are looking for one, make sure you have a 2m tank for one of them at least...

As far as I can tell, they both look like some of the colour-bred variants of the Asian Arowana, Scleropages formosus. I'm unsure if they are even legal here - I do know that they are protected by CITES and you'll probably need a permit to obtain one.

I've never seen them avaliable in my area, and the closest you'll get are the Saratogas ('Australian' arowanas, S. leichardti and S. jardinii).

the 1st looks like an red tail golden aro and the second could be a diablo red or elkindo red, hard to tell if you dont know what farm its from and the age of the aro .remember all asian aros are micro chipped and registerd when they are small with the farm of origin details and if there is no certificate for the fish .stay away .try http://www.panglongarowanas.com/index.php?lang= or http://www.arowana.co.uk/ they have pictures of most of the aros for sale and pricing
o and yes they are blacklisted here .ive tried getting a permit after months of up and down at deat i decided to wait untill the new list comes out
