    Hi guys

Recently I've posted about my first angel spawn. First angel spawn These fry grow rapidly, and when I went away for the weekend, I came back to find the parents' fins in bad shape, and seeing the babies nipping at them.

I moved the parent to a seperate tank, but really don't want this to happen again.

    What could have caused this?

    Also: Do fins regrow?

    Regards

    PB

pappabear,I dont know why they are nipping the parents fins, but after 3weeks my fry started nipping each others fins because they were over crowded in the one tank, the ones in the larger 1000 tank did not nip each others fins.make sure that the babies dont nip each other now that the parenrs aint there anymore!

Thanks jabula. There is not so many of them and they are in a space of about 75cm x 50cm x 50cm, so I really doubt if space is the problem. I'm planning to set up more tanks after which I can spread them out even more.
