    Hi all I'm new here.

    I've been browsing through the site for a while and have already picked up a few important things. The blacklist for example. I knew it existed but never knew there were that may fish on it. That's something to keep in mind.

    Any way, I've been keeping fish for the past 3-4 years. Started off with a 75cm tank and kept a few angels, gouramis, bala sharks, plecos. Since then I've upgraded to a 1.2m tank and kept tinfoils, corydoras, tetras. Currently keeping severums. I've also kept a Polypterus Endlicheri and what a sad day it was when i gave him away. Really a beautiful fish.

    I plan on upgrading soon to a 1.5m tank and keeping a few Uaru if I can find them. Seems like mission though. Also want to set up a sump for this tank and I'm sure this forum will help a great deal with that.

    That's all from me for now. Looking forward to learning from you all. :)

    Thanks guys. I found some pics. It's from a year ago. Don't have any recent ones.

    The tank... looks much different now.

    @mxz - Yeah,once bichirs creep into your hart,it's hard to forget them ever again... He must have been just a lil guy back then - still had his external gills...How big was he when you got him?

    @azurekoi
    He was a baby when i got him, about 8cm. Had him for 9 months and had to let him go. He was about 25cm. Ate many fish along the way. 5 congo tetras, 1 bolivian butterfly cichlid, killed a tinfoil also. It's interesting and sad at the same time to see how he hunts them down.

    But one day I hope to set up a 3m tank with a few of these guys.. That will be awesome.
