    Hi i'm from Pretoria.
Don't have my tank yet but already have the stand.
Need help with glass info(thickness of bottom and sides as well as support beams)
After reading a few posts i think i'm better prepared and will do it the correct way.

Welcome to TASA Gert :D Ask away with any questions you may have and we'll help. You have the added advantage in that you have found TASA before setting the tank up so you are already on the right track :D:D

The stand is as important as the tank - you get it wrong and your tank will not last no matter how thick the glass may be :D:D

Welcome to the family Gert! :)

If you give us the dimensions of your future tank (Lenght x Width x Height) And what you might decide on putting into the tank we can help you with the thickness etc.

Now I've hear it all... starting with a stand and then deciding to keep fish.

Well I suppose we all started somewhere. Mine started with my wife wanting to put a fish into a small (1 litre) fish bowl type vase that she received flowers in! Now that's one way to start!
