@HennieRoux man your fish have came a long way, could you please update the last batch as those fish are superb. Do you have any new batches on the way?

 

4 Weeks later

So this is what they look like 4 weeks later, had to start seperating them. Sone have some amazing looking half moon tails. @hein24

New batch

Here is a pic of mommy and daddy spawning. Fry is a week old today, so still tiny. They are half moon coppers, mommy is a f3 generation copper hm.

 

Plakaat dumbo ears and fry

This is one of the fry in the first pic, and in the second ouside is a hm plakaat dumbo ears I purchased, funny enough they have the ecact same colour

 

Really nice fish! I wish I was near JHB.

 

Sjoeh those fish are breathtaking, Hennie keep this up and I might sell all my planted tanks and equipment and start up with the breeding equipment and these guys. So beware my friend lol

 

Haha @hein24 I dont think you will ever give up your planted....but you can always add a tank or 2 to breed...jy weet jy wil!

is there anyway I could get a few females from you with those fry are big and string.. ? and your fish a really stunning

 

HI @HennieRoux.

Thanks for the female you gave me. However she is very shy and don't come up at feeding times.
Any Advice?

The corrys are doing very well though.

@duran123 thanks allot they are beauts, but you are a bit far.....?
@DerikPelser what other fish do you have in your tank, remind me again please? She shouldnt be shy....whats your ph @ the moment....remember she is not use to other fish as tank mates, but only Bettas. Is she eating @ least?

No suppose u can ship them, but its such a mission, that it is not that worth while....I think

@HennieRoux - Angel's, corrys, neons, guppies, SAE, 2 sword tails and a krib.
I can see they not picking on her though.
She took a small bite tonight and she is still looking good.

 

SO I took a trip down memory lane....I think I need to start breeding again?
