HalfMoon Update

Hi Everyone

Here is a update on my Copper fry, that is now 5 months old, they look amazing and is most proberly my best work yet! He is copper with some red in, this he got from he`s dad, but is much better looking wise.

 

Black Copper Male

This is the red Coppers brother, but he is a complete black copper. Also a beaut, really like the total black in him.

 

My HalfMoon Purple Salamander x Yellow HM Fry

Here is some pics of my HM Purple Salamader fry.....they all look pretty much the same, this ,eans he is a true breed, I had to x him with a HM yellow female as this was the closest I could get. The results is not bad, and they are starting to get a pink color to them, but this will change most likele as they get older. They are almost 2 months old.

HI @tracyp haha....I am not but I have work people that travel that way from JHB rather often. I might be selling 2 of the Copper males, and I will be selling all the HM Salamander fry.

 

You're plain wicked.... no no no - I will NOT set up another tank! Those copper boys are just magnificent, well done grandpa!

 

Thanks Tracy they are amazing, I cant keep my eyes of them. They are my knew favorites and I will keep on breeding the coppers.

@HennieRoux, I will wait patiently for you to get ready to sell some of your coppers in 6months or so time.

Once you have a had a few more successful breeding sessions and plenty of those coppers. I will make a plan to get one or two

 

Thanks @Wyvren there would of been over 50 of them if I found the problem with my dam water....but @ least it is sorted now, and I will not be losing any more fish. Next year will by a good year for halfmoons.

@HennieRoux, spectacular coppers you have there. Congrats! Mine looks very similar to your's. I would love to swop you with one of my copper females for one of your copper females from that spawn. If you want propper purple salamander's, i have some males and females for you. I also have very nice black orchid's which I'm going to cross with my black coppers. I'm also trying to breed black copper double tails, but those will still take some time. You should try and cross your black CT to one of your copper fry...
