I know its a tropical forum, but sooner or later you guys will start your marine system, so its a good idea to start with good and valuable knowledge,
For cooling down the LEDs you'll need to place them on a heatsink, the LEDs look like the following when placed on heatsink

Nice .. so you have an arduino and if you do not like the functionality you can change it to your own desire ... one thing that is simple to add would be a temp sensor on the heatsink, means you could driver the LED's harder and switch them off to a lower intensity if they get hot.

Assuming this is the same kit Typhon LED Controller Kit by BoostLEDâ„¢ if you can get you hands on some of the includes.

Sounds like a nice little project indeed.

thats right, its has BoostLed controller and rapidled Crees on,

The tempreture sensor is a brilliant idea, will look into it,

As it stands, my drivers are running on 75% of their power, and the the LEDs on 60% maximum , so i don't really have heat issue,

But its a neccassity to keep the LEDs safe, they are bloody expensive!!

Here is the tank without LEDs, the difference is huge!! LEDs are the best thing ever, you have too see it for yourself to believe, Its by far better than any sort of lights in the market.
