Hack for canister filters

    A nice hack for barebottom tanks with messy cichlids ,discus etc

    I always battle with canister filters not picking up waste ,food etc

    I tried removing this “cage” and and then extending the inlet down to a few millimeters above the tank bottom

    It’s crazy how much stronger your suction will be
