I heard that co2 is good for plants. Here at SAB we have distilled water with co2 and disolved oxygen of 40ppm. Is this water suitable to keep and grow plants and after a few weeks putting fish in the water??

    Hi Nick,

This water is most probably suitable for keeping plants and fish, but you must remember that plants will use up this CO2 in a flash and the oxygen levels can change just as quickly.

If you want to use CO2 fertilization you will have to use it directly in your aquarium, but if this water is say distilled water that only contains the CO2 and the oxygen then this water is also not going to be suitable. Perhaps you can give us some more detail.

    Kind regards,

    Dirk
