    Hi all
I have been lurking for a few weeks... it all started when my father reignited his fish keeping hobby. I then got myself a 60l from a colleague and some bettas. I have added a 20l (hospital tank ready for emergencies) and a 100l to my collection. The 60l is currently housing a pregnant malawi. The 100l has become my main tank and i currently have the 5 bettas(3 females 2xmales), pygmy corydoras, albino corydora, pepper corydoras ,black neon tetras, nerites and a Malaysian trumpet in the tank i have also added some plants( java fern, anubius and two different spieces of amazon swords) which i tied with some string to the hard scape. I am open to any constructive criticism but am well aware of betta males not really suppose to be together but they seem to get along just fine for the past 3 weeks.

Hoping to have many more years in this great hobby[IMG][IMG]

Those amazon swords need their roots be planted in the gravel - the other 2 things are great for tying on

Welcome to the forum :) Tank looks epic too!

Have to agree with Eros though, those swords will do a lot better in the gravel over time.

Thank you. i just don't like the aesthetics of the string and not to sure how i am going to get it loose once those roots are rooted to the hard scape but i am a bit scared of using gel super glue

I had the same issue - well in a way. I used the gel, and it worked really well but I didn't get enough, so ended up tying in some places. I just used the thinnest weakest thread I could find and it basically broke off on its own over time and I just pulled it off. The glue method is a lot easier though, and you can get tons of fast acting glues, and some that will even work on a wet surface so just have a look around. I am sure your LFS will have some

    Hi @Cnile87

Glad you stopped lurking in the shadows and that yo joined- Welcome!

    Beautiful Beta and tank
As @Logz said, the thread eventually breaks away and also the roots gro over it and you dont see it
I have used glue in the past including the Seachem one and i found the glue turns white after setting and it was more of an eye sore than the thin thread

Thank you @MariaS. Just a quick update on the tank i got my two swords off the rocks and into the substrate so had to move some plants around a bit. I know this is not ideal though. In the process of re-scaping i found that my only tiger nerite had died i have 4 others that are doing fine. I also acquired another little 40l tank that is going to cycle for a while so i can add a betta in there aswell. I used some water from the 100lt to help with my beneficial bacteria

So many of them do - was a big selling point for me when I first started using Stability a few years back haha.

Would love to see pics of the updates and the new tank!

While there is not much happening in my tanks ( just added some ramshorns panda corry and bronze corry) i thought i would share my father's collection there are 5 tanks running and one that we will be setting up today for discus that still has to cycle. The flower horn shares a tank with a pengasius that we got from someone that kept it in a 40lt tank that now houses the tetras and barbs and a pleco (in the pics) the other small tank has lemon oscars (they look more like albino to us) and some baby Malawi's. Then there is the big oscar tank with silver dollars, jack Dempseys, green terrors, convicts, bristle nose pleco and the different types of oscars( the lemon oscars will be joining them soon). Then there is the 2m tank with various malawi fish( i dont know all their names), clown loach, eye eater haps and a rainbow shark.[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
