    Greetings to you all,

    A brief introduction about my setups.

    I currently have 2 tanks consisting of a 5 footer and a 6 footer.

    6 footer specs: Malawi biotype

    Filtration: 3 foot sump, sub-divided into 3 chambers
    chamber 1: Filter wool 2: ceramic rings 3: crushed coral
    40mm PVC piping
    2* 2500L P/H pumps(soon to be upgraded)
    Temp: 24-26

    Substrate: Mixture of aragonite and 2-3mm fine white gravel.

    I do a 30% water change per week, which includes 1 cup of sea
    salt per 100L of water in addition to 1-2 tsp Sodium Bicarbonate
    per 40L of water. This helps elevate the PH to around 8.5 and a
    high GH between 200 and 350 mg/l, in my opinion perfect for these
    fish.I also use a powerhead for circulation and current, which
    they seem to enjoy very much.

    Inhabitants include the following:

    -Dimidichromis compressiceps
    -Labidochromis caeruleus
    -Labeochromis fuelleborni
    -Maylandia/Metriaclima crabro
    -Maylandia/Metriaclima estherae
    -Maylandia/Metriaclima lombardoi
    -Pseudotropheus acei
    -Pseudotropheus demasoni
    -Pseudotropheus saulosi
    -Pseudotropheus socolofi

    5 Footer : Discus tank:

    Filtration: 3 foot sump same as above except in Chamber 3 I use
    peat instead of crushed coral.

    Temp: 28-30

    Substrate: fine pool sand

    Plants consist mainly of java moss, java fern and Vallis.
    Inhabitants:

    Turquoise discus
    Blue Diamond
    Cobalt Blueturquoise
    Leopard Discus
