    Greetings all,

    Another newbie to the tropical fish world, and from trawling past posts it seems like we all go through the same learning process :)

    Anyway, have started with an 80l community tank and loving the experience thus far - even if it does seem to be a real time sink. I do have an issue with Nitrate levels, so will post a question in the 'beginners section'.

    yeah since you in CT and a WC is not really an option ... more plants the get them nitrates down or an algae scrubber
